Jerrold V. Wheeler was born in Washington, DC. He grew up in Sedalia, attending Sedalia Public School and graduating from Northeast Guilford High School.
He began his funeral service career at Hargett Funeral Service of Greensboro in 1995. He has also worked for Hargett & Bryant Funeral Home of Burlington, & Scarborough & Hargett Funeral Home of Durham.
Jerrold is a graduate of Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associates Degree in Funeral Service.

Brian Hargett Greene is the grandson of Nathaniel E. Hargett, Sr., who founded Hargett Funeral Service of Burlington and Hargett Funeral Service of Greensboro in 1922.
Brian grew up in Greensboro and is a graduate Ben L. Smith High School.
He grew up in the family business and is currently a funeral director at Hargett Funeral Service in Greensboro as well as Hargett-Wheeler Funeral Service.
Brian attended Fayetteville Technical Community Technical Community College with a diploma in Funeral Directing.
