John C. "Skeepie" Scarborough departed this earthly life on Sunday, November 7, 2020. He was the CEO of Scarborough and Hargett Celebration of Life Center.

Sarah Ann Haith, 56, transitioned on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, VA.  A graveside service will be held at 11:45 am on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30 am to 11:45. am. Public viewing will be from 9 am to 6 pm on Friday, September 11, 2020 in the Hargett-Wheeler Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Hargett-Wheeler Funeral Service.

Louise Rebecca Young, 98, transitioned on Friday, August 28, 2020 at her resident.  A private celebration of her life will be held at 12 pm on Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Hargett-Wheeler Funeral Service Chapel, Burlington. Public viewing will held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Hargett Funeral Service, Greensboro from 2 to 5 pm. 

Donna Elizabeth Ross, 57, transitioned on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Cone Health. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Elizabeth Ross; and her brother, Don Ross.

Donald Wayne McClean, transitioned from this life on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 9:45 am. He lived a joyous and laughter filled life with a smile for everyone for 60 years. The homegoing memorial service for Donald Wayne McClean will be held at the Full Gospel Christian Center on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Services will begin at 12:30 pm.The church is located at 4618 Creekview Road, McLeansville, NC. Arrangements are in the care of Hargett-Wheeler Funeral Service.

Roderick Rashoun White, Jr., 18, transitioned on March 8, 2020 in High Point, NC. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1116 Montlieu Avenue, High Point. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Hargett-Wheeler Funeral Service of Burlington, NC.

Wilbert Gerald, 81,  passed on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Alamance Health Care Center.  Hargett-Wheeler Funeral service is assistiong the family.

Preston Donnell Hawkins, 30, transitioned on Sunday, September 1, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 7 at Wadsworth Congregational Church, 1301 Rock Creek Dairy Road, Whitsett. Burial will be at Shearin Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids. Public viewing will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Hargett Funeral Service, 905 E. Market St, Greensboro. J. V. Wheeler Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Don Claude Ross, 69, transitioned  on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Maple Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Don was a lover of sports. He enjoyed watching Nascar. He also loved the mountains. His favorite place was Blowing Rock, NC. He enjoyed being a music and youth director for many years and did so in several Baptist churches in the Greensboro, area. Don resided with his sister in later years and was an excellent caretaker and brother to his sister...
